:P TTS is not an asset creation program, nor is an asset management program. Your notecard method is an interesting workaround, but I don't think you will be able to escape making an actual deck sheet at some point. "Are there other types of cards that accept text entry that are more suited for my purposes? Specifically, ones that are easier to stack and shuffle."Īs I mentioned, you cannot write new cards. I have to use a walkaround of using a bag, and shuffle the cards inside the bag.Īre there other types of cards that accept text entry that are more suited for my purposes? Specifically, ones that are easier to stack and shuffle. The cards would not stack in a way that I can pick them and shuffle them by shaking them with the mouse. The program contains a database of all cards and all of their sets. Currently it specializes in creating decks for Magic the Gathering, though more games may become available in the future. Allows you to easily assemble a collection of individual image files to create a single image file to use as a deck. I believe I can manipulate the saved object files to get the desired results. Minor: Progress Bar actually works :O Thundross is a powerful deck creator for Tabletop Simulator. When logged in, you can choose up to 12 games that will be displayed as favourites in this menu. Rather anything that automates the process for large number of cards.Īnyhow, I have created some "Notecards" (since they support text entry), and saved them. In the time you are spending trying to figure out how to streamline things, you could be just making the thing you need to be making. It can be easy to get lost in how to streamline processes in Tabletop Simulator, or game design in general. So you're looking to script THAT process, not the creation of objects in TTS, I think. If you are looking for more room, I now have a 8 player commander table as well as long 10 person tournament/FNM table. It is a reworking of the Mod 'MTG: Commander Table'. The fastest way to do this would be to create a template image with your named cards on them already. This table perfect for playing Magic the Gathering with up to Four Players. It doesn't make sense to add UI elements to cards (if that's even possible). TTS cannot apply text to a card image, it's loading a jpg/png onto the card face. With the recent addition of single card objects, users now think of cards as unique objects, not as nameable children of their parent deck objects. My first impulse was to suggest making a couple of decks with blank placeholder images on the card template, as this has usually been the easiest way to make tons of cards.
